Gift Guide: Accessories for Her
hair ties // earrings // phone case // watch (on sale!) // clutch // desk set // monogram necklace // wine tote // jewelry tray // scarf
++ You can usually find an Emi-Jay hair tie on my wrist. They come in tons of colors and patterns and are way better than the average hairband.
++ I’m a little obsessed with Kendra Scott earrings (okay, so I only have one pair… for now!). What girl wouldn’t love these to add a little glam to her wardrobe?
++ I have quite the iPhone case collection, but I don’t like to spend a fortune on them. I always check out J.Crew Factory’s selection because I love the material and they are super cheap!
++ One of my favorite accessories to wear is a nice watch. I love all of the Kate Spade leather strap watches out there- this one gets extra points for the scalloped detail!
++ A good clutch is a must because you can’t carry around a big tote everywhere. I love the texture and tassel on the GiGi New York uber clutch.
++ Kate Spade makes the cutest little gifts. This little desk kit would be perfect for a teacher or the businesswoman who wants to add a little pop of color to her desk.
++ My monogram necklace is hands down one of the best pieces of jewelry I own. It goes with everything and adds a touch of class to your daily wardrobe.
++ This Kate Spade wine tote has got to be the cutest way to transport your wine and would make a great gift for a hostess or your favorite dinner party goer.
++ Jewelry trays are great for throwing in your jewelry when you don’t feel like putting it in it’s proper place. I love this one from J.Crew Factory- the gold and chevron combo is perfect!
++ This black & white infinity scarf looks pretty cozy… and who wouldn’t love a new scarf?
BUT WAIT… THERE’S MORE!

Julep Maven Box Review
Alright y’all, I bring to you yet another monthly box of goodies! (I may or may not have a slight obsession with these… whoops). I haven’t seen anyone post about this particular one so I thought it was kind of necessary. Julep Maven is a monthly subscription for something that’s near and dear to my heart… nail polish!! The cool thing about this one is that you can customize your box, choosing what colors you really want. I saw a code for a free month on Facebook so of course it sucked me in!
Each box comes with $40-60 worth of nail colors and beauty products. Mine came with 3 polishes in pretty fall shades along with a skin serum. You know I’m always down to try new skin products so this was a nice treat. This box will run you $25/month (or $20/month if you get a 3-month subscription), but with the regular price of these polishes being $14, it’s a great deal! I first tried Julep a few years ago when my mom got me a boxed set that was one of “Oprah’s favorite things” and I have to say the polish quality is excellent- smooth and easy to apply. Here are the colors that came in my box:
via
Coco– oxblood creme
Winter– light grey creme
Queen Anne– lilac confetti microglitter
Subscription boxes are always a great (and easy) gift ideas because they come in a cute little package filled with goodies, but some people may not want to buy something like that for themselves. For all my polish-a-holics out there, use code FREEFALL for a fun box of fall neutrals! And if subscriptions aren’t for you, Nordstrom also has a pretty Julep 3-pack that would make a great stocking stuffer. Have a great Tuesday y’all!

Camel + Plaid
Gap sweater, old (similar here & here) // Gap legging jeans // Arturo Chiang boots, old (similar here) // Target plaid scarf // Longchamp tote // BaubleBar ring // Julep polish in Winter
So I did it. I wore white pants after Labor Day… and lived to tell the tale! I never thought I would have seen the day- I usually pack up my white denim until Easter rolls around but I thought it was time to switch it up. Sometimes fashion rules are meant to be broken, but then again… there are no rules in fashion, right?! I decided to keep it neutral with a camel sweater (extra points for elbow patches) and boots and added a pop of pattern with my plaid scarf (one of my best purchases this fall!). I’ve been seeing a lot of white denim fall looks lately and whether it’s an oversized sweater, plaid, or a chambray top, there are plenty of easy ways to fall-ify your whites!
Ps. I’ve had a lot of questions about this particular lip color, which to me is the perfect deep red for fall & winter. My lip pencil is no longer made by Smashbox so yesterday I went into Sephora to find a match… and I did! I love Bite Beauty lip products and I found the perfect matching color- the high pigment pencil in Pomegranate. Another bonus? This shade comes as a mini in the tin gift set that you saw in Friday’s post. I’m glad I scooped one up because they’re now sold out online, but some may still be available in your local Sephora store (plus today’s the last day of the VIB sale!).
What are your feelings on winter white, love it or leave it? Hope y’all have a great Monday and thanks for reading 🙂

RocksBox #3: Emerald + Gold
Another month, another RocksBox! I have to say, this little box of goodness is the best subscription box ever. I love surprises so it’s always fun to unwrap this little box of goodies every month. This is my 3rd box and I must say that the quality of the jewelry as well as the service has been excellent. [Read about my other boxes here & here]. I have been wanting to try a layered necklace, so I was especially excited to open this one up. Anyways, let’s proceed with the unveiling of my goodies!
>> Gorjana Crescent Layer Necklace
>> Margaret Elizabeth Emerald Cut Earrings in Green Onyx
>> House of Harlow Cuff

How did my RocksBox stylist know that I’d be wearing this little green dress this weekend? I was so excited that my pieces matched my outfit perfectly!
Had to sneak in a little photo of me & the boy 🙂
If you want to try out RocksBox (and I know you want to), sign up here and get a free month! Ps. They’re now carrying Kendra Scott pieces. Swoon!
I was gifted 3 months of RocksBox but all opinions are my own.

Vest Weather
Faux fur vest, sold out (similar here & here) // striped turtleneck // BlankNYC mustard skinnies, old // Frye boots // BaubleBar pearl earrings // Kate Spade sunnies // Rebecca Minkoff bag
The temps have definitely cooled down in Charlotte and that means time to bundle up! Aka… vest weather!!! Oh, and can we please talk about the time change? I’m not okay with it. I already feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day and darkness at 5:30 sure doesn’t help the situation. But on to more important matters, this super soft & cozy vest has quickly become one of my favorite pieces for fall. The only con is that it doesn’t have pockets, but for under $40, a girl can deal. I paired it with my jersey turtleneck and mustard skinnies. Even though colored denim may not be “in” this year, I still rock these babies because during fall, mustard is always a good idea. What are your favorite ways to style fur vests?
