The day has finally come, Ryan & I are all moved into the new house and it still feels so surreal! We moved in 2 weeks ago and actually are closing on the townhome today, I hope the new owners love it as much as we did. I’m sharing a few snaps of the new Hotel Sapel now that we are officially living in it!

I haven’t taken a lot of photos because half of the house has been a mess but we have already made a few updates and the house already feels more “homey” with furniture. Let me say that I LOVE our Samsung Frame TV- it lies flush on the wall so it looks perfect above our fireplace and love the art mode so we aren’t always looking at a big black box on the wall. Highly recommend!
We also wanted to recreate this photo from July when we just had drywall and hardwoods installed to move-in day. So amazing to see the progress!
Right after moving in we had California Closets come and install our pantry, study & guest bedroom closets, linen closets and of course the master!! This was our second time using them (also used them for our master in the townhome) and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Their 3D rendering system really helps you to visualize what your closet will actually look like- I found that several other companies just sketch it out on paper. This time we added a few drawers and a pull-out hamper that keeps everything neat and tucked away.
One exciting update from this week was wallpapering our master bath! We knew we wanted to have a pop of color on the accent walls behind the mirrors and ultimately decided on navy because it pairs so well with brass. We used the Thibaut taluk sisal in navy– it’s actually a vinyl wallpaper so it is durable and washable so it’s perfect for a bathroom. Ryan & I easily agreed on navy many months ago and are so happy with how it turned out- now I need to start doing more research for wallpapering some other rooms in our house!
