Happy Monday, friends! It was exactly one year ago that Ryan & I moved into our house and what a happy day it was! We first decided we’d build a custom home during Fall of 2018, took a few months to come up with the design and another 10 months to build. It was a labor of love, truly a full-time job in addition to our regular jobs but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat. Building a home is time consuming, stressful and not for the faint of heart, but the end result has been worth it and I cannot wait to create many more memories with my little family.
It has been 8 glorious months with our little Porter James. He’s really starting to get a personality now and is so much fun, life is so different from the early newborn days and I’m trying to savor each and every minute!
It’s been too long since I’ve shared a home post but am quite excited for this one. Today I’m sharing our Halloween front porch decor! This is the first year we’ve ever decorated the exterior of our home for Halloween and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! We moved into our home at the end of October last year so we didn’t get a chance to decorate- but this year it looks pretty spook-tacular (if I do say so myself)!!
My little Porter James is 7 months old! I feel like so much has happened this past month- sharing a few updates in today’s milestone post!
I never thought I’d be writing a whole post on Porter’s cranial helmet experience, but here we are! I’ve briefly mentioned Porter’s helmet in his monthly updates, but today I wanted to go in depth about what the helmet is for, why we needed one and ALL the details of our journey. I found that reaching out to other moms was SO helpful so if you’re going through a similar experience, hopefully you can find this post useful and if you have any specific questions, feel free to comment below!
Hey, friends! It’s been a while since I shared a good old fashioned Instagram update so I’m sharing a few recent snaps in today’s post!
