I can’t believe we are halfway through September, y’all! It’s still been pretty hot here in the Carolinas but I’m *almost* ready to switch out my summer wardrobe for all things warm and cozy. But until then, transitional pieces are the way to go. Now is a great time to pick up a few things that can be worn now into fall. Today I’m sharing the most flattering dress that will easily take you into the next season!
This dress will most definitely become a favorite for the fall season. And don’t let the “body-con” description scare you away- yes, it’s form fitting but it hugs you in all the right places and the ruching on the front is flattering as in not skin tight against your stomach. The color is ‘burgundy stem’ and it comes in like 13 colors!! There are some bright colors, great neutrals and weathered colors as well. Just FYI I would probably size up in this one unless you want it skin tight (I’m wearing a small). Ps. It also comes in a long sleeve version!
And can we also take a minute to talk about these feather earrings from Kendra Scott’s fall collection? The colors are amazing and they’re unlike anything I have in my jewelry connection. I always look forward to her collections each season and these earrings are one of my favorite pieces ever!! They are under $100 come in a few other colors if you want something more neutral.
On another note, I want to send lots of love to my North Carolina neighbors who have been affected by Hurricane Florence. Thankfully the storm is slowly making its way out but the damage has been devastating for so many. There has been severe flooding in Wilmington, the eastern part of the state and even parts of Charlotte. Luckily we didn’t lose power but there have been several neighborhoods that have. My thoughts are with families, business owners and support crews as they repair and rebuild.
