Happy Friday, y’all! Today I’m excited to give y’all the scoop on some new beauty products that I’m loving this fall. I always love trying out new makeup and skincare but I honestly don’t do enough product reviews. Maybe it’s because I’m not a “beauty blogger” or don’t have the fancy camera & light setup, but my goal is to start doing more of these and sharing my favorites with you guys. Today I’m sharing 6 products that you should try this fall!
Let me introduce you to my new obsession- It Cosmetics. I’ve seen many bloggers sing their praises about the makeup line and I’m so glad I was finally introduced to the products at The Blog Societies Conference this summer. This primer is part of their new skincare line found exclusively at Sephora. I’ve never really used a primer on a regular basis but this formula works so well! It helps my makeup stay all day and just gives my skin a smooth and even finish. Not too greasy or oily- just remember to use a small amount.
The moment I tried this CC cream I was obsessed and now it’s the most used item in my makeup bag. Y’all know I don’t normally wear a lot of makeup and was previously using a BB cream with some powder. I was on the hunt for something with a little more coverage but not as heavy as long-wear foundation and was so glad I discovered this product. The coverage is great, it’s breathable, smells nice, and it has physical SPF 50 (the best kind- you know I’m a stickler for that!). This one gets 5 stars and if you want to try it out, Ulta has the travel sizes at the checkout line!
I never got into contouring until I got this nifty little thing. If you want to get a little definition but don’t have a lot of time, this contour stick is perfect. You just swipe it across and use all 3 colors at once on your cheekbones or use the highlighter and bronzer individually. Basically, it’s contouring for dummies!
I absolutely love this stuff! I first discovered while reading InStyle magazine and my hair can always use some oomph so I gave it a try. I spray it on after I curl my hair then tousle it for some extra volume. And sorry I don’t have a before and after picture for you- totally forgot! Like all Living Proof products, this one smells ah-mazing.
I recently received these liquid eyeshadows from Influenster and didn’t use them right away. I guess I was hesitant because of the application but once I tried them, I was hooked! I’ve been using them almost every day the past few weeks for an easy daytime look.
Side note: I was traveling a few weeks ago and forgot ALL my makeup brushed after cleaning them but luckily I had these with me and just used my finger. The application is so easy and the formula goes from liquid to powder and it lasts all day. I was surprised by how much I love these!
I used Nude Smoke (24) all over my lids, Fur Smoke (21) on my outer crease, and Gold Ashes (12) on my inner corners. Also used It Cosmetics Superhero mascara which is the bomb.com!
As you can imagine, when I saw Kendra Scott was coming out with a collection of nail polish, I was like hello.. where do I sign up?! I was definitely sold by the packaging- could the bottle be any cuter? And love how all the shades complement the gemstones and metals in the jewelry collection (I got in in rose gold). It’s a little pricey ($16), but was a must-have to add to my polish arsenal.
What’s the best beauty product that you’ve discovered this fall? While at the mall yesterday, I picked up this holiday set from Bite Beauty and it’s so stinkin’ cute! I get one just about every year and it’s a great way to try out new shades. Thanks for stopping by and hope y’all have a fabulous Friday!!
