Thank you to London Times for sponsoring this post. As always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
There’s nothing I love more when the weather warms up then grabbing some food or a cold beverage on a rooftop patio. Luckily, there is no shortage of those here in Charlotte and today I’m sharing the cutest tropical print dress that’s perfect for your next rooftop stop!
There’s two things that are important to me when heading to a rooftop event- looking cute and staying cool. Whether you’re having a girl’s night out for cocktails or attending a rooftop wedding celebration, this dress from London Times is perfect to wear in the summer heat. I love the ruffle detail and the high neckline- it’s fitted up top but still flowy enough to keep you cool. I also think this would be cute to wear to a baby shower or even church- it’s conservative but a little flirty at the same time. I’m wearing a size 2 and it fits true to size.
We have several awesome rooftops in Charotte but this particular day Ryan & I grabbed a drink at City Lights, which is located on the roof of the LeMeridien hotel in uptown Charotte. Just look at those views! If you like popsicles, they have an awesome drink called the “sparkle & pop” which is a King of Pops popsicle in prosecco, such a refreshing treat for summer. I went with an equally refreshing favorite- a strawberry mojito! If you’re looking for some other fun rooftop spots in Charlotte, be sure to also check out Merchant & Trade and Fahrenheit. With 90 degree temps the past few days, I think it’s safe to say summer’s officially here- hope y’all are staying cool out there!
