I don’t know about y’all, but I love any excuse to have a party. Saturday was no exception as Ryan & I hosted a housewarming party to celebrate our new townhouse. Finally!!! It felt like forever waiting for our home to be built so I feel like I have been looking forward to this housewarming for quite some time now and I’m happy to say it was a successful first celebration in our house and there will be many more to come! It was calling for some major rain here in Charlotte but luckily a quick rain shower passed and we were all still able to go hang out on our rooftop terrace.

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a great weekend- our quick getaway to the mountains was much needed and it was good to have a little change of scenery. We mostly hung out at our friend Randy’s mountain house, had brunch/dinner in Asheville and went out for a bit downtown but the highlight of the weekend had to be river tubing on the French Broad River. This is something I’ve always wanted to do and seized the opportunity while we were in the mountains. Easy Breakfast: Scrambled Egg Muffins

Breakfast. The one meal I’m actually pretty good at making. As y’all know, I’m no chef (food posts are definitely lacking around here) but when I find an easy and delicious recipe, I just have to share! You know those catchy Facebook food videos shot from above that are super sped up and make cooking anything look like a piece of cake? Well, I saw a similar egg muffin recipe on there a few weeks ago and was like, “I have to make this!” I think this is the perfect dish when you need to make a big breakfast, but don’t want to spend a lot of time doing it. Since we had a house full of company last weekend, I thought it was the perfect time to try them out and I have to say, they were a hit!
