Hi, friends!! If you follow along on Instagram then you know we recently welcomed our sweet baby girl! This post is a little late BUT I’m so excited to share my maternity photos/last photo session as a family of 3 before our baby girl entered the world.
I was originally on the fence about taking maternity photos. I didn’t take any during my pregnancy with Porter, mostly because I don’t think I look my best during pregnancy and didn’t know if they would be photos I’d actually want to frame. I thought about it again and this pregnancy did get me feeling more sentimental since I knew it would be my last. My last time with a baby bump, my last time growing a life inside of me. Life is short… take the photos!This was a last minute decision (I was just over 37 weeks) but I put on makeup, curled my hair and threw on a nap dress– yes, that’s a thing– and got some sweet photos with my fam. And I’m so happy I did! Taking photos with a toddler is very challenging but I had to commemorate this time, our last few weeks as a family of three.
