Happy Friday, blog world! I’m in an extra good mood today because it’s the LAST DAY of my family medicine rotation which means I’m officially halfway through my clinical year!!! I may or may not be breaking out my dance moves right now. I’m really starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel (aka graduation) and plan to enjoy this weekend to the fullest before starting my new rotation on Monday! So anyways, let’s jump right into my Friday 5…
ONE // Sushi date
Ok so.. this date was like 2 weeks ago but I wanted to give my Charlotte girls a shoutout! I went on a blogger date with Amanda, Joey, and Chesson at Enso, one of my favorite uptown sushi spots. It just so happened to be half-off cocktail night -which is every Tuesday FYI- so that was a pleasant surprise! The very best thing about blogging would have to be making “online” friends into “real life” friends and I’m so thankful for everyone I have met through this blog 🙂
TWO // Edible dough
THREE // Baseball game
I went to my first Knights game of the season thanks to Logan’s tickets from her law firm. Ryan got a bacon wrapped cheese dog and I got the pork nachos (not pictured) and they were both super delicious. Baseball would probably have to be my least favorite sport to watch (whoops!) but of course I love going to be social. And you can’t beat that view!
FOUR // Potential planner
On Wednesday, Ryan & I met with a potential month-of wedding coordinator and she brought us some goodies!! I didn’t want to play for a full wedding planner and I figured I could do most of the planning since we have such a long engagement. What are y’alls opinions of month-of/day-of coordinators? Did you have one and did they make your day run super smoothly? Did you not have one and regret it? Or did you regret not getting one? Opinions appreciated!
FIVE // Lilly-palooza!!
Two. More. Days. I cannot contain my excitement. I was lucky and got some Target gift cards for my birthday and I will have absolutely no problem finding something from the Lilly collection. All the goodies you see below will be online and in stores this Sunday, April 19th (and all the dresses are under $40!!!). If you haven’t already, check out the entire Look Book here and save your favorites so they’ll be easily accessible when the sale goes live!
I hope y’all have a fun and fabulous weekend. It has been cold and rainy the past few days in Charlotte so I’m hoping for some more of that spring weather ASAP! I’m excited to be meeting some special bloggers tonight for a little get together- keep up with me on Instagram (@kristinahendley) and Snap Chat (khendley)!
