Hello everyone and TGIF! Sorry for my radio silence the past few days but I have been in serious study mode. I can’t even tell you how much I’m looking forward to this weekend… and luckily for me, it starts TODAY so let’s jump right into this week’s five on Friday!
One // The PANCE
I officially survived the boards!! Or so I hope. I have been preparing for this moment since the beginning of PA school and I can’t believe it’s finally over. I’m not gonna lie though- the exam was extremely hard and was probably the longest 5 hours of my life. I felt prepared but with so much riding on this test, I couldn’t help but have major anxiety. Hopefully all goes well when I get my results but for now… all I can do is wait!
Two // Hello, wedding shoes!
This needs no explanation- best delivery all week! And let me just add that no, I did not pay full price for these Jimmy Choo’s. I could not bring myself to do it. Ryan & I had been looking at a few sites (eBay, Tradesy) and I found a pair in near mint condition that are amazinggggg. Can’t wait to share!!
I was proud of myself for getting my butt in the gym the first 3 days of this week. I tend to get lazy during winter because we all want to hibernate, right?! Well, with a wedding coming up I can’t make any more excuses. I’ve been trying to focus on my arms and back lately (since those areas are most visible in a wedding dress) and am looking to try some new classes to tone it up a little more. Maybe something like Flywheel/Flybarre or PureBarre. I’d love to hear from you guys, what classes/programs have you tried that gave you the best results?
Four // The Bachelor
After the crazy holiday/studying schedule, I totally forgot that The Bachelor was starting up again. Thanks to a little reminder from Jessi, I tuned in on Monday night and got sucked right back into the “most dramatic” show on TV. But for real, lots of drama, a mini horse, twins, and a drunk girl/stage five clinger. I really liked Ben from the last season- he seems really sweet and genuine… I can’t believe he’s only 26!
Five // Off to Naples!
I knew that once I had taken the PANCE, a little getaway would be in order. Ryan’s parents have a condo in Naples, FL so we flew down last night for a little weekend. I first visited two years ago and you can read about that trip here. This weekend we just plan on being beach bums, getting some R&R, and of course dinner at Roy’s for their amazing butterfish. More on that later!
I’ll be back next week for more regularly scheduled programming. There’s been lots of stress and anxiety this week (cute the breakouts) and I’ve just been on edge after finishing the test yesterday. I’m hoping this stress-free weekend will get me back in my groove. Hope y’all have a great Friday and thanks for stopping by!
