Wedding planning is in full swing and I’m so excited to go wedding dress shopping for the third time this Saturday!! Of course the bride’s dress has to steal the show, but pretty bridesmaid dresses are a must in my book. They are the perfect way to incorporate your wedding colors and of course you want your girls to look extra pretty. The dreaded “ugly” bridesmaid dress is officially a thing of the past.
Eva Franco designs for stores like Nordstrom and Anthropologie and she has recently teamed up with the website Loverly to create a line of vintage inspired bridesmaid dresses. And believe it or not, you can actually wear these again… see for yourself! Some of them are a little pricier than the average bridesmaid’s dress, but you can be sure that you’ll want to wear them over and over again. I’m loving all the soft pastels and delicate lace- these dresses are absolutely gorgeous!
Whether you’re having a casual outdoor ceremony or an elegant formal affair, you can find dresses that will compliment your event perfectly. I especially love the dresses with unexpected back detailing like the crossover Juniper dress or the low scoop of the gorgeous lace Nori dress. How beautiful is that blue?
There are so many pretty dresses it’s hard to pick a favorite, however I have to say this little navy blue Auriela dress is quite the sexy piece! This would not only be great as a bridesmaid dress, but also perfect for a cocktail party or a fancy date night. I’m sure the guys would approve too!
And here’s one more for all the brides out there. If you’re looking for that little white dress for your reception or rehearsal dinner, there are plenty of cute options in this collection. My pick is the Lily dress– I love the cutout detailing and the two-piece illusion. It’s so classy and feminine. Swoon!
You can find all these dresses as well as other bridesmaid dress styles from Loverly. They’re perfect for adding that unexpected textured look to your bridal party attire and are perfect dresses for any girl to rock, even as a guest! Except the white ones, of course. What are your favorite styles?
