Just like the song goes, there’s no place like home for the holidays! Today I’m taking y’all inside Hotel Sapel for a little holiday home decor tour and I’m also sharing this year’s Christmas card at the bottom of the post. Yay, Christmas!!!
See last year’s holiday decor post here!
Since we just moved into our townhome last year, I had to buy ALL the Christmas decorations last season so I didn’t change too much this year BUT did make a few little updates! We went with a flocked tree again- this was our biggest one yet standing at just under 9 feet. I love the look of the snowy branches and don’t know if I could ever go back to a green one… maybe one day I’ll mix it up! We added garland strung with twinkle lights on our railing a mix of red & green plaid for our tabletop decor.
Since we added the fireplace this year, I was so excited to have somewhere to hang our stockings! Last year we hung them on the railing with our garland but this looks so much better. In the kitchen, we added a few festive touches with mini wreaths.
We added a few new ornaments this year including the cutest wooden bear from our trip to Banff. Ryan & I have a tradition of collecting ornaments from our travels and I love looking back on them each year. I guess my tree has an overall “theme” of red & white but I make sure to include sentimental ornaments on the tree as well- you can see some of my favorites below!
Merry Christmas from The Sapels!
