It’s the 2nd week of May so my countdown to Boston has officially started. Only 15 days until me & my classmates (+Ryan) fly up north for the PA national conference. If anyone knows of any fun things to do/eat/shop, recommendations are welcome! I love traveling to new places and cants wait to explore this city.
As I was reading a Sephora email, I came across a cool new product that I thought I should share. They are called Press Pods by Formula X and they have made their way to the top of my wish list. Basically you get 24 little capsules that have a brush on the end and have enough polish to paint 2 coats on 10 nails. How cool is that?? You always have a variety of color and can just throw it away when you’re done! If you’re like me, the worst thing is when your favorite nail color becomes thick and clumpy and you end up throwing it away. This set is only $39 for 24 colors and hopefully I can get my hands on one soon!
Babies! We just started our OB unit and yesterday afternoon we got to meet some expecting mommies! Let me say that I’ve never really touched a preggo belly before, other than my mom’s when I was like 11… so that doesn’t count. I was a little nervous to press on it, but it was neat to feel where the baby was and I used a tape measure to determine gestational age. I also got to use a Doppler ultrasound to find the heartbeat… which was pretty cool!!
Sooo this 5 is a little heavy on the PA news but lots of exciting things are happening! I got my clinical year rotation schedule so I get to know where I’ll be working next year. The best part is that I’ll have 4 rotations in Charlotte (plus 2 electives) so I’ll have lots of time to spend with my Ry guy!! Yayyy!! For the rest of my 12 rotations I’ll be in Raleigh/surrounding areas.
Today’s the day- it’s your last chance to enter our coffee-themed spring giveaway. Don’t miss your shot to win these goodies! (I’m seriously thinking about going out and buying that polish right now!).
