BB Dakota fur sweater, old (this year’s version) // Lilla P sweater (similar) // Citizens jeans
Leopard loafers // Tory Burch sunnies // Monogram necklace
Kendra Scott earrings // Marc by Marc Jacobs crossbody
Today I’m talking about my cozy and casual fall uniform featuring one of my very favorite sweaters to throw on over just about anything. Y’all know I’ve written about BB Dakota a time or two, but here is yet another one of my favorite pieces from them- a super soft open cardigan with sherpa lining. I got this one last year but this year’s version, the Applin Jacket, is just as cute. Actually, I think I like it even better with the dark heathered grey!
I wore this outfit to dinner on New Years Day when Ryan & I met some friends out for dinner. I wanted to keep it simple but still look put together, and that’s what the leopard flats are for, right? I seriously wear the heck out of theses shoes… some of the fur is even coming off the back and I’m thinking a backup pair is totally necessary. Anyways, Ryan & I were doing our little photoshoot (or PS as we like to call them) and saw people climbing on the rocks at the park so I thought I would do the same and climb to the top of the “waterfall” for a cool shot of the city (mind you, it was a little difficult in tight jeans and flats with no tread, but somehow I made it up there). You can’t see the rocks behind the wall or what’s below the waterfall, but it’s pretty high up! If you’re in Charlotte and looking for a cool place to take photos, Romare Bearden Park is one of the best places to see the beautiful Charlotte skyline!
Thank goodness it’s humpday and that means the week is almost halfway through!! It’s definitely been an adjustment getting into the swing of things at work after having a month off. My office is super busy and we see tons of patients… and then I have to come home and log all of them (the not so fun part). I’m excited for my first official OR day on Friday and will be giving y’all a recap very soon, I promise!
