one // Thank you!
This little blog of mine is moving up in the world- this week I reached 100 followers here on GFC! A successful blog is not solely represented by this number, but I’m so thankful that there are people out there that actually take time to read my posts and leave me such sweet comments, y’all are the best! I especially love reading other blogs because they are so unique and I can always learn something new. I never thought this blog would evolve like it has and I’m glad to be a part of such a fun little blogger community 🙂
two // Jewelry Tray
Since I always talk about jewelry, let’s talk about where to throw it at the end of the day. I think my dresser is in need of this adorable acrylic monogrammed tray from Shop Dandy. I am moving and all, so I’m thinking this would look good in my new room in my new apartment, don’t ya think?!?
three // Weekend Visitors
Our friends Mel & Todd are flying all the way from San Fran to spend some time with Ryan & I in Charlotte this weekend. We haven’t seen them since last April and we’re excited to show them the hot spots in the city… oh and the always fun Avenue pool party is on Saturday, hopefully the weather will hold out! Tonight we’re going to Midwood Smokehouse because they want some good ‘ol southern BBQ. I’ve never been, but trying new restaurants is one of my favorite pastimes. Yay for yummy dinners and fun times with friends & my handsome man!
four // Little Patients
Trying to do a physical exam on peds…
Yep… this pretty much sums it up. Yesterday, we got to experience the foreign world of pediatrics. Sure, I’ve babysat kids and watched my little brother back in the day, but trying to do medical tests on them can be quite the challenge. I saw an 8 year old girl who was very cooperative, she’s one of those kids who likes going to the doctor’s office… good for me. Then there was the 20 month old. Babies are adorable, but how about you try sticking an otoscope in that tiny little ear?? They aren’t having it. Even with his mom’s help, the little guy was squirming everywhere but eventually warmed up to us. This was definitely a good attempt to examine a baby, let’s just hope I get plenty of practice in clinicals!
five // Pineapples
They are everywhere lately, and for good reason! They’re yummy and make for a fun summer pattern. I’m loving this dress from Piperlime.
