Aug 29, 2016

J.Crew ruffle sleeve t-shirt

We're officially in the last week of August and I can't believe summer is coming to a close! I am looking forward to one more summer vacay this weekend but after that, I'll officially be in fall mode. Today I'm sharing a business casual look that's perfect to wear to work as we wind down from summer and transition into all things fall.

Currently Craving: Blues

Aug 26, 2016

Happy Friday, friends!! Another week bites the dust and before we know it we'll be into September which means helloooooo fall. I'm excited to finish the summer off strong for Labor Day but I'm also ready for some cooler temps to come our way. I don't know if I have an actual "favorite color," but I'd say blue is up there. Today I'm sharing a few blue pieces that are on my radar and with the exception of the Hunter boots, they are all under $100!!

Our Wedding Day: The First Look

Aug 24, 2016

To do a first look or not do a first look? That was the question.

Actually, it wasn't a question at all! Ryan & I knew we wanted a first look from the moment we started wedding planning. Having only an hour after the ceremony to take pictures and make our guests wait on us sounded like a logistical nightmare. Unless you happened to have a 2pm Catholic wedding, then by all means I would take photos after the ceremony. We wanted to get our portraits, wedding party photos and some family photos out of the way so that later we could focus on other things (like practicing our dance!). We got to spend some extra time with each other that day and it was completely worth it. Here's a look at the first time I got to see my handsome groom!

Rainbow Row

Aug 22, 2016

Happy Monday, y'all! Today I'm sharing my outfit from the last day of The Blog Societies Conference. In case you missed it, you can read my recap here. When visiting the charming city of Charleston, a stop by Rainbow Row is a must (especially if you're a blogger wanting to get some fun photos!). It is a long row of houses located on East Bay Street that are every color of the rainbow- my favorite being the pink and turquoise ones. They truly add to the southern charm and history of The Holy City.

The Blog Societies Conference

Happy Friday, loves! As you may know, I recently went to my first ever blog conference (and certainly not my last) and it was such a great experience! This has been a blogging goal of mine for a while now and I'm so glad that I finally made it happen. I wanted to share some highlights of the weekend with y'all as well as the top 3 things I learned from attending The Blog Societies Conference in the beautiful city of Charleston.
